Spitfires Nursery, Ipswich, Suffolk

We are conveniently located in Ravenswood Children’s Centre.

Our nurturing ‘home from home’ environment is carefully designed to encourage children to learn independently in a safe, secure environment that promotes equality and values diversity. We have an experienced skilled manager and staff team. We provide all meals and promote healthy eating. Our cook prepares a healthy home cooked lunch for the children using fresh ingredients.

We provide a range of fun activities, resources, and experiences to meet children’s individual needs and interests. Children have the opportunity to explore our outdoor area all year round and take part in physical activity, being adventurous in safety.

We offer Early Education funding for 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds

All children who are 3 years old are entitled to early education funding the term after they are 3 years old. They are entitled to 15 funded hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. This can be taken during school term times only or stretched out over the whole year.

Early education funding for 2 year olds is offered to families meeting certain criteria, please ask for details or see “Do you need help with funding?” at the top of this page.

There is no registration charge if your child only attends funded sessions.
